My Collections
This hobbies and collections ESL lesson teaches vocabulary for stamps, coins, stickers, figures and other collectable objects. Students mingle using 'What do you collect?' and 'How many do you have?', then compare shared interests. They write and present a Collection Profile, roleplay a collectors' club interview and play Collection Bingo.

Lesson flow
Help students talk confidently about hobbies and collections using colourful visual prompts, pair work, and real classroom conversations. The lesson opens with a warm-up in which the teacher shows off an imaginary collection and students guess what's inside, before a short video introduces collecting vocabulary like stamps, coins, stickers, and action figures. Learners then drill useful structures — “What do you collect?”, “Do you collect anything?”, “How many do you have?” — through a mingling interview activity, tallying how many classmates share the same hobby. In the second half, students write and illustrate a “My Collection Profile,” present it show-and-tell style to the class, roleplay a collectors’-club interview in pairs, and finish with a Collection Bingo game that reinforces the vocabulary one more time before the lesson ends.
