Fairytales
In this fairy-tale ESL lesson, learners meet dragons, princesses, witches, knights and other familiar story characters. Songs, character mimes and guessing activities develop vocabulary and comprehension. Children freeze into character poses (princess, dragon), sing a fairy tales song pausing to name castles and witches, and match character flashcards to stories. The second lesson shares favourite fairy tales in pairs, makes a paper-plate character mask, performs a mini fairytale scene with simple lines, and finishes with a treasure hunt finding hidden story images.
