Dinosaurs
This dinosaurs ESL lesson combines prehistoric animal vocabulary with counting from 1 to 10. Children sing Ten Little Dinosaurs, stomp, roar, colour pictures and match dinosaurs to their shadows. They finish with an active Dino Hunt, finding and counting hidden dinosaur shapes around the room.

Children discuss what they know about dinosaurs, sing and count along to 10 Little Dinosaurs, stomping and roaring like each one, then colour and name dinosaurs on a worksheet. The second lesson replays the counting song, matches dinosaur shapes to shadows, completes a counting worksheet, and finishes with a Dino Hunt game where children find and count hidden dinosaur cutouts around the room.
