Do You Have A Pet?
This pets ESL lesson teaches animal names and the questions 'Do you have a...?' and 'Do you like...?' Children sing, draw a favourite pet and guess animals from mime. They build a paper-bag pet puppet, perform an owner-and-pet conversation and join a final puppet parade.

Lesson flow
Children sing a pet song, draw and decorate their favourite pet practising 'I have a dog,' and play a guess-the-pet miming game. The second lesson builds a pet puppet from a paper bag, roleplays an owner-and-pet conversation in pairs ('Do you like fish?' / 'Yes, I do!'), and acts out a mini pet-adventure story, finishing with a Pet Puppet Parade.
