Yummy Ice Cream
This ice cream ESL lesson teaches flavour words and preference language with 'Do you like...?', 'I like...' and 'I don't like...' Children sing, mime tasting and sort choices as yummy or yucky. They design a dream ice cream, present its flavours and vote for the class favourite.

Lesson flow
Children name ice cream flavour flashcards and sing along to an Ice Cream Song, miming eating each flavour and giving an opinion. They complete a Yummy or Yucky worksheet practising 'I like...' and 'I don't like...'. The second lesson has children design and draw their dream ice cream, share it with the class, and vote for the most popular flavour, finishing with a goodbye rhyme.
