This space ESL lesson introduces astronaut, rocket, moon and stars through songs and imaginative movement. Children count down to blast-off, pretend to travel through space and draw themselves in a spacesuit. They solve a colour maze, play Astronaut Says and complete a rocket drawing challenge.

Lesson flow
Children countdown '5, 4, 3, 2, 1, blast off!' and sing along to rocket songs, pretending to be astronauts and rockets. They draw themselves in a spacesuit and colour the moon and stars. The second lesson reviews colours through a rocket maze worksheet, followed by an Astronaut Says game and a rocket-drawing colour challenge, finishing with a space-themed goodbye.
