Barn In The Farm
This farm animals ESL lesson combines animal names, sounds, colours and the preposition in. Children sing, act out farm sounds, colour barns and identify animals from shadows. They place animals into coloured barns and give a spoken barn tour using sentences such as 'The duck is in the yellow barn.'

Children sing along to an Animals in the Barn song, acting out animal sounds, then colour barns and animals and guess who's hiding behind shadow shapes. The second lesson matches animals to coloured barns ('The duck is in the yellow barn!'), practises colour-by-number, and places animal stickers into barn cutouts, finishing with a barn tour describing each colour and its animal.
