This pets ESL lesson teaches common animal names and the question 'Do you have a...?' Students guess pets from sounds, sing, practise short answers and mime animals in a Pet Walk game. They create a mini Pet Book and use it to talk about pets they have or like.

Lesson flow
Children guess pets from imitated sounds, sing pet songs pointing to flashcards, and practise Q&A ('Do you have a dog?' / 'Yes, I do!'). The second lesson plays a Pet Walk game where children mime a secret pet for classmates to guess, folds a mini Pet Book drawing and labelling pets, and watches a short pet-store video, finishing with bonus pet-themed games.
