This winter clothing ESL lesson practises garment names with 'Put on your...' and 'I'm wearing...' Children sing, dress a paper doll and compete in a winter dress-up relay. They create an outfit collage, answer 'What are you wearing?' and finish with a fashion parade describing warm clothes.

Lesson flow
Children sing a dressing song acting out putting on a scarf and hat, dress a paper doll in winter clothing practising 'I'm wearing a scarf!', and race in a winter dress-up relay. The second lesson builds a winter-outfit collage with magazine clippings, plays a 'What are you wearing?' pointing game, and listens to a snowy-day story, finishing with a Fashion Parade describing their outfit.
