Lesson flow
Children spot circle-shaped objects around the room and sing and move to a Circle song before colouring and completing a circle craft. The second lesson introduces triangles, squares, hearts and rectangles through flashcards and a matching worksheet, followed by a Shape Monsters craft and an optional pirate-patch shape game, finishing with a class circle dance naming all the shapes learned.
