Lesson flow
Children jump onto floor numbers calling them out, sing numbers 1-20 songs pausing to spell and count, and chant 'Number Echo' in different voices. The second lesson practises telephone-style dialogues ('What's your number?' / 'It's 498-226.'), spells numbers aloud in a listening game, and makes a decorated telephone card to read out and roleplay a phone call.
